Perfect Disk - partition the hard drive

Have only one partition on your Hardrive. Want to formatting the harddrive but was Afraid if data missing . There is no right or wrong in dividing the size of a hard drive, because it all depends on the needs and tastes of the user's computer. Please note that different terms to divide hard drive partitions. Because the disk is partitioned, it is not necessarily divided. Divided here means cutting capacity hard disk (multi-partition)
But there are some advantages to be had, if you divide the hard disk:

1. Hard drive with multiple partitions will reduce the access time, the result will be more responsive system. The reason is that if you put the OS or other file that is often accessed at the beginning of the partition, the partition was beginning the first part of which will be read by the head to read and write. 3. Hard drive with multiple partitions will allow you to do defrag. Just imagine if you have a capacity of 320 GB hard drive up, but do not make multiple partitions? How many hours are needed to defrag?
4. In doing imaging, hard drive with multiple partitions will facilitate the process of imaging. If there is one problem partition, and previously had made image placed in other partitions, the partitions can be restored by using the image.
5. If you want a multi-boot OS, hard drive with multiple partitions is required. Although there are no plans to have a multi-OS, it would be better still if multiple partitions are made.
6. The last is the security issue. Generally Windows installed on drive C, and hackers know this. Therefore, the possibility of a virus which automatically attacking drive C still there, although now increasingly sophisticated viruses that are biased surf the entire disk area. How to outsmart, install an OS that acts as a dummy (as a complement), and partition C is made as small as possible. In addition, note also to never an NTFS partition occupied by 85% more.
