Tip with CHKDSK and formats through - Dos Promt

1. Go to the DOS Promt Windows XP and ketik CHKDSK /F Drive letter: Eample:"chkdsk /f v:"
2. Remove the existing files in the flash disk with the command DEL drive letter:*.*.Example:"DEL V:*.*
3. Format with Format Drive letter. Example:"format v:"
4. After not write-protect, format flash through computer management.

If you still write protect re -boot the pc and do it again they will move.  if you still mean so this does not apply to your flash.
